中醫診所設計｜讓放鬆成為最好的療癒
在這次的中醫診所設計中，我們從初期構思階段就確立了一個核心理念——「舒服與放鬆，才是最好的治療」。當人走進診療空間時，應該感受到的不只是治療本身，而是一場全面的身心療癒。空間氛圍，正是療程中不可或缺的一部分。
多數人對中醫診所的印象是明亮的白光與醫療感十足的環境。然而，中醫講究「調養身心」，而空間設計與燈光規劃正能在理性專業與感性放鬆之間找到平衡。透過燈光色溫、照度與層次控制，我們希望讓患者在診間中感受到柔和、溫潤且穩定的光線，彷彿整個人都進入被光包裹的放鬆狀態。
在這間位於台北的中醫診所中，我們以自然材質結合溫潤光色，營造出靜謐卻富有生命感的氛圍。從候診區到診療區，光影層次漸進轉換，讓人隨著燈光的節奏慢慢沉靜下來。當患者躺上診療床，身體逐漸放鬆、意識放下戒備，往往不知不覺就睡著了。當空間能讓人安心入睡，那正代表設計已經開始發揮療癒的力量。
在醫療空間中，燈光設計不只是照明，更是塑造體驗的靈魂。合適的光線不僅能降低病患焦慮、提升舒適度，也能在醫師與患者之間建立信任的氛圍。這樣的設計並非單純的美學呈現，而是實質上強化了診所的品牌形象與病患滿意度。
同時，我們也將醫師的操作需求納入設計考量。燈光被精準配置於關鍵視覺範圍，讓醫師在看診時擁有最理想的光環境，不論觀察、處理或與患者互動，都能更加舒適與專注。這樣的空間，既照顧了專業的臨床需求，也讓患者能徹底放鬆身心，回歸療癒的本質。
TCM Clinic Interior Design｜When Relaxation Becomes the Best Healing
In this TCM clinic design project, we began with a simple yet profound belief — “Comfort and relaxation are the best forms of therapy.” A treatment space should not only serve medical functions; its atmosphere should also become part of the healing process, gently supporting both body and mind.
Many people associate a typical Chinese medicine clinic with bright fluorescent light and a strictly clinical atmosphere. However, Traditional Chinese Medicine emphasizes the balance between body and mind — and that balance can be expressed through spatial and lighting design. By carefully controlling color temperature, intensity, and lighting layers, we create a gentle and stable light environment that helps patients ease into a calm, restorative state.
Located in Taipei, this TCM clinic features natural materials paired with warm, layered lighting to bring a sense of tranquility and subtle vitality to the space. From the waiting area to the treatment rooms, the lighting gradually shifts to guide visitors into deeper relaxation. When patients lie down on the treatment bed, their bodies loosen and minds quiet down — until they drift effortlessly into sleep. That moment of deep rest is when we know our design truly begins to heal.
In healthcare environments, lighting design is far more than illumination. The right lighting reduces anxiety, enhances comfort, and strengthens the sense of trust between doctor and patient. Beyond aesthetics, it plays a crucial role in improving patient experience and shaping the clinic’s professional identity.
We also considered the physician’s perspective. Lighting is precisely tailored to support medical observation and operation, ensuring clear visibility without fatigue. The result is a space that feels effortless for the doctor and soothing for the patient — a place where design quietly transforms healing into an experience of genuine comfort.
