In the design of this commercial office building, the front and rear areas were intentionally separated into two distinct themes to reflect their different uses. Facing the main road, the front zone features a more dynamic lighting approach to support vibrant commercial activity. The façade is layered with lighting strips that connect seamlessly, while wall washers at the roof edge and entrances crisscross to enhance both horizontal and vertical lines. Key areas are reserved for multimedia display screens, enriching visual focus and enabling the building to showcase digital content and dynamic effects, attracting passersby’s attention and establishing a modern, engaging business image.
Conversely, the rear of the building is shaped as a tranquil retreat, primarily serving office staff and prioritizing comfort and a calm environment. Here, lighting design is minimalist and restrained, without dynamic features or media displays. Instead, it highlights the distinctive roof geometry and façade panels through concealed floodlights and warm-tone linear lights, subtly outlining the structure’s contours and panel design. This understated illumination creates a stable, composed atmosphere that celebrates pure material quality and geometric sophistication.
The stark lighting contrast between front and rear not only supports different spatial functions but also gives the building a self-assured, nuanced nighttime identity—ensuring a strong and distinctive presence in the city’s nightscape.
