在2016年唐山世界園藝博覽會植物風情館的燈光設計中，我們以「光作為建築的語言」，重新塑造幾何造型的層次與節奏。設計的核心理念是讓光成為結構的一部分，而非附屬裝飾，使建築在光影交織中展現純粹的美學。
整體燈光策略採「由下而上」的手法，透過隱藏於結構中的燈具，勾勒出幾何輪廓。光線均勻滲透建築表面，形成內外呼應的視覺層次。夜晚時，建築不僅被照亮，更彷彿被光喚醒，並將出口由內部透出戶外的光線，展現出另一種柔和而具有雕塑感的姿態。
我們將使用者體驗納入設計核心，將燈光隱藏於座椅區並搭配人眼視線角度製造無眩光的照明，為旅客創造舒適的休憩氛圍。燈光的位置與角度經過多次測試模擬，以確保光線柔和、不干擾視線，並維持整體空間的寧靜節奏。
技術層面上，我們選用高演色性且節能的LED燈具，讓材質能呈現自然色澤。燈具在安裝上與建築結構緊密結合，保持整體外觀的純淨，同時避免光害與溢光。通過對燈光亮度與方向的嚴謹控制，使光線在層次間流動，凸顯建築幾何的節奏與韻律。
植物風情館的燈光設計不僅是技術成果，更是光影敘事的藝術。我們讓光具備情感、秩序與節奏，讓建築在日夜之間轉換姿態，於柔光中展現其靈魂。每一道光，都承載著我們對「光與空間共生」的信念與追求。
In the lighting design for the Plant Pavilion at the 2016 Tangshan World Horticultural Exposition, our guiding concept was to use “light as the language of architecture,” reshaping the geometric forms’ layers and rhythm. The core idea was to make light an integral part of the structure, not merely a decorative addition, enabling the architecture to express pure aesthetics through the interplay of light and shadow.
The overall lighting strategy embraced an “uplighting” approach, with luminaires concealed within the structure to outline the pavilion’s geometric contours. Light is evenly diffused across building surfaces, creating visual layers that echo inside and out. At night, the structure is not simply illuminated but seems awakened by light; interior beams softly radiate outward, presenting a gentle, sculptural presence.
Central to our philosophy was the user experience: lighting is hidden within seating areas and precisely positioned to eliminate glare from typical sightlines, creating a comfortable rest environment for visitors. Every luminaire’s position and angle underwent extensive simulation and testing to ensure soft, undisturbing illumination and to preserve a tranquil spatial rhythm.
From a technical perspective, high color-rendering, energy-efficient LED fixtures were selected to reveal natural material hues. All lighting integrates tightly with the building structure for a pure exterior appearance and to prevent spill and light pollution. Careful control of intensity and direction allows gentle light to flow between layers, emphasizing the pavilion’s geometric cadence.
More than a technical achievement, the Plant Pavilion’s lighting tells a story in light and shadow. We infused lighting with emotion, order, and rhythm, allowing the building to shift character between day and night and reveal its spirit in gentle illumination. Every beam embodies our commitment to the symbiosis of light and space.
